during the 14th century Magical Outbreak, many humans accidentally came across large amounts of Magic that spawned in the wilderness and were promptly infected, causing mutations which changed their appearances and biology. these were regarded "Neo-humans", and were the first of their kind recorded in history. in the modern day, neo-humans remain in peace with other humans and species, and can be found all around the world.
