From across the multiverse people are pulled and brought to one place, the Nth Dimension. Whatever force brings them here opens up pocket dimensions for these pulled people to fight in, televised to other outer-dimension beings. Only one can survive, in theory.
Special effects aren't needed here, but if you attack to the beat of the music you'll get to be the favourite of the viewers at home. Do you think you've got what it takes? You better, because it's starting now and you've been chosen! Welcome to the Battles of Fated Destiny~!
Named after the dimension all members were pulled from.
As the Fighter was being pulled into the Nth Dimension, his friends were there to attempt to stop it. They weren't completely success, and ended up in a random pocket dimension apart from the Fighter. Eventually they manage to find each other again, and demand they are allowed to be a team on account of being from the same dimension.
All from different dimensions originally, bar a couple of dimension hoppers. Some are familiar with these games, most are fresh to the idea and are just fighting to survive (to some, they enjoy it).
Beings to be defeated by the fighters, though many don't make it past them. As long as their God of the Fight and Dance survives they can be reborn.
