_Foxx's Links
Ara is always earnest when it comes to treating jes packmates and Vulpen in particular tends to receive the most amount of attention. The healer isn't sure how ne hurts nemself so often, but whenever ji sees the distant figure of the fox Traitor approach, ji always makes sure to have at least some basic first aid care on the ready to treat nem. Still, ji appreciates the time the guard takes to chat with jo, it often helps jo get through fatigue and continue working.
Vulpen has spent much time with Araneus due to ges tendency to get hurt, the healer one of the few pack members Vulpen views ginself as close to. The fox tends to go out of ges way to stop by Ara’s den and drop off food or herbs on the rare occasions gi does come within the pack to rest, never too tired to stop by and chat with the healer who’s saved ges life time and time again. Araneus is one of the few traitors that knows of nos dysphoria and preference for Nuite pronouns.
Sasha wonders how Vulpen can be so loyal to Rowarenne when sve has done all but be a good sibling to gin. Alpha or not, Sasha couldn't think of any valid reason to treat jes sibling that way when Ji would give jes only sister the world.
Vulpen doesn’t avoid Sasha outright, but interacting with that particular traitor leaves a deep ache in ges chest. The two share a heavy stone of grief when it comes to the death of Sasha’s only littermate- another death that Vulpen places in ges own shoulders after gi had grown so close to that particular traitor. Though Sasha makes Vulpen’s very core ache at the mere sight of them, gi is quite friendly with the Hunter when they interact. After all, they have a more in common that one might assume.
Rowarenne can appreciate the Hunter’s talents, especially since the Sacral Hunt. They lost a majority of their hunters, and Rowarenne recalls with fondness how adamant those that remained were about bringing back food for the suffering clan. As once of the few pack members that have strayed from the rules, Rowarenne has a certain soft spot for Novera. Their conversations remain cordial, however sve does praise the hunter fondly.
The two haven’t spoken much since childhood, the semblance of a friendship they may have fostered long abandoned for their separate roles. Vulpen will occasionally acknowledge the hunter’s skills in passing, and truly does appreciate the talent the other traitor possesses. Often the lonely guard misses hunting with Vera, but those days have long passsd.
“Oh little one you’re certainly full of potential aren’t you?”
