Anathema Adoptables

Anathema Adoptables 

Details:

• You do not have to have another character already in Anathema to audition for these adoptables. Anathema moderators may apply for adoptables, but will be excused from judging all adopts if they do.
• You can audition for as many of the adoptables as you like, but you can only win one.
• Each adoptable comes with items necessary to create them right away. These items are inseparable from the adoptable, and cannot be refunded. 
• Each design has a Concept Blurb and an Inventory List on its profile. Please read them carefully for guidelines!
• These designs cannot be traded, sold, or given away. If in the future the  winner no longer wishes to play this character in Anathema, the design  must be returned to the game staff. If you develop/use the character a significant amount, and wish for an exception to this rule in the future, contact staff! We're not unreasonable, we just want to make sure these designs aren't being adopted just to be played elsewhere. 

• These adoptables do not have specific activity requirements. They do not have to be played, written, roleplayed, or "proven" to be in use in order to remain with their player.
• However, we want to make sure that their players are active Anathema members. If you are found to be completely inactive in Anathema (not posting in Discord server, leaving Discord server, not posting any art/rp/writing etc) for more than three months, you will be contacted for a discussion about the adoptable's future!
• We aren't inflexible, and know that life happens! If you plan to return to Anathema, we can always work something out 💛

How to Audition:

1. Write a profile for the character you wish to create out of the design. You must include:
   1. Name, Age, Pronouns
   2. Mage background (if applicable)
   3. Personality (50 word minimum)
   4. History (150 word minimum)
   5. Magic, including stats (if applicable)
2. Submit your audition by adding it to the character's profile in a comment.  Profiles do not need to be coded/formatted and can be plain text only.  Profiles can be pasted directly into a comment or on an external  document, such as a google doc. Other materials (art, graphics, formatting, etc) will not be used to determine a winner, only the written content.
3. Staff will choose winners based on how creative the character concept is and how well it meshes into the Anathema world lore. Submissions will not be judged on coding, presentation, art "quality", or writing style.
