Aonani

Based in the bustling neon city of Aonani (meaning "beautiful light") that never sleeps or sees the light of day. It's a constant nighttime. The center-most part of the city is where all the wealthy and famous reside, while the further out you trek, the worse the hierarchy becomes. Poverty, crime, and other life-threatening issues befall those unfortunate enough to live in the shadows of the ever-growing, beautiful, and seemingly perfect city. It's only a daydream in the minds of many what would happen if they were to strike out against their cruel living system- but that's for all of us to find out. 

The demons that reside here have adapted to the neon glow of their surroundings, and, in turn, have uniquely colored skin, hair, and eyes. Some have parts of their body that glow like the flashing lights of the city, while others stay visible through bright neon skin- and if they really want to stand out, they toss in a bit of sparkle and shine. The most popular accessories are usually made of bronze, gold, or silver, and many outfits sparkle with tons of glitter. Gemstones are all the rave and some demons have gone as far as to encrust themselves with millions of them. Neon and glitter body-painting is also a very popular occurrence. The privilege of nice clothes and such is usually limited to those who live closer to the center of the city. Most poor demons don't have sparkly clothing.
