The Lurelin are a friendly group of Hylians that live hugged both by the Faron and Necluda regions on the Gogonbi Shores in a humble fishing village. Despite their proximity to one of the largest surviving Hylian settlements, their culture and beliefs remain unmarred and as strong as ever. They typically have shorter, rounder ears than Hylians, and therefore their theocratic beliefs are a little more open than just monotheism. In fact, their beliefs seem to reflect that of the Akkalan polytheism- the divine boar, owl and wolf protectors. It is suspected they were quite a powerful group in the ancient era, ruling the lower seas of Hyrule and hosting a pirate haven on the now abandoned and cursed Eventide Island. Almost all Lurelin are bilingual, speaking a mix of their native tongue with common, as they are incredibly welcoming of any Hylian guests to their village and appreciate the commerce they bring.
