The Eldin and Tabanthan groups share an equal amount of similarities and differences. The Hylians of Eldin live predominantly within the Trilby region at the foothills of Death Mountain, and historically had a great deal of commerce around Cephla Lake and with the Goron Mines. It's a swelteringly hot region, and these tan-skinned folk have greater resistance to the humid heat of the region, as well as rough, shoddy accents. The Tabanthans on the other hand, although as just as hard workers, boast resilience to the biting cold winds that draw south from the Hebra range. They can climb the scraggly hills of their home terf adeptly and enjoy husbandry and living off the dense forests around Lake Totori. Their accents are softer and more melodic, but just as unintelligible to the common Hylian ear.
