After a near civil-war, the clans have ushered in peace again. Star Seeker, a cult leader, was driven out of Riverclan to atone for his sins. But the wounds welled up from his evils run deep in all clans and beyond into the afterlife. A kittypet arrives, claiming her daughters are those of Star Seeker's, born with a mark already on their heads.
