Deepwood Forest
Not far from Ember Town's borders lies the Deepwood Forest, home to many unique Pokemon residents. The residents who call the Forest home do not consider themselves to be town residents, but they maintain good relationships with Ember Town itself. The residents here often have unique knowledge on various dungeons and ruins, though some Forest residents can be considered playful tricksters.
