"Ah, Falconfang! She may be an elder now, but you should have seen her in her younger days-- scant the fastest marmot could keep up with her then. In another lifetime, I'm sure she would have become a fine leader. You shouldn't underestimate her even now, her bite is quite quick."
“A wonderful medicine cat. He is always so diligent in caring for the clan, even when it’s difficult. I think he’s a good cat. Though, unfortunately, I can’t say our relationship has been fully the same since the outbreak of rabies. I still feel quite guilty for what I put him, his apprentices and the clan through.”
"Pah! Marblehop is naive. The other leaders are going to run him in circles, unless he wisens up fast. He's better than the 'leader' who came before him, but that's hardly difficult."
“Brackenthorn and I never really got along, even when I was young. I respect his loyalty to PeakClan and he’s no doubt a great warrior but..his attitude and the way he says things can be really, uh, grating. Yeah, that’s the world I’ll use.”
Cashewcurl purrs loudly and rubs his pelt against Sequoiaseeker’s as she walks past him. It’s obvious he holds the she-cat in extremely high regards.
“Foggypelt’s great! Who else is going to get mad at me when I’m totally obviously right? Nah, but seriously, if I’m ever going to train with someone, it’s going to be her.”
“Lichenpatch. Raising Lichenpatch was one of the best experiences of my life, and I’ll never not be proud of having him as my adopted son. Even if I can’t say I love him to his face anymore, I still go to his grave and leave him flowers, just to say it one more time. I miss him every day.”
“Parsleypurr was one of my best friends in PeakClan. She often teased me, as I wasn’t much younger than she was and we both had Lilacmilk as a mentor, but I was no pushover either! I’m happy she lived a long and satisfying life. I hope to see her in the stars when my time comes.”
“I’m glad Geckobounce came to PeakClan for help when the loners came. I don’t know much about her, but perhaps I should get to know her while she heals in PeakClan.”
“Elkstomp was awesome, no doubt about it. I’m sad he’s not hear with us, but I’d like to think he’d enjoy this new home we found. I miss ya, buddy.”
“I’m glad to see he’s doing well! If only I could’ve lived long enough to see him become leader, but maybe I can sneak a quick visit when he gets his lives!”
" Falconfang is an admirable warrior and still continues to be. I like to think we were friends or even acquaintances. I know if I had been leader, she would have been one of my top choices for deputy. "
“Lunartuft was a great warrior and a fantastic deputy. I know he would have been a wonderful leader too, had things been different. Ever reliable. I’m proud to have called him my clanmate and friend.”
“Muskoxbrawl is a young cat with a ton of potential. I want to get to know him better; I wonder how he’ll grow more in the future. I’m always glad to hang out with him.”
I'm feeling pretty bad right now, do you think we can talk under the stars?
“Bladetail? She’s probably once of my best friends! And definitely my biggest rival, though I’m definitely the one who wins our bets the most”
“Pollenwish? Rival?? PFFFF HAHAHAHA! As if there’s even competition! Look she might be my friend but I will NOT let her go around making me out to be some loser! You know what, where IS she-!”
“I didn’t mentor him much but I’m proud of Cashewcurl! He’s definitely a quiet one though”
Cashewcurl smiles widely when Pollenwish is brought up. He then stands up and gets in a battle stance; it must be something that Pollenwish taught him!
“Eveningbreeze was a respectable cat. I would even consider her my friend. I remember her as being quite kind and a fantastic mother to her kits. I hope she considered me a friend too.”
“Oh, Gilaslink..I thought Verglasfang was going to be the sassiest apprentice I ever had. Boy did he prove me wrong! *chuckle*
Yeah… Gilaslink was an amazing apprentice, and I’m honored to have trained him. I just wish I could apologize to him. I regret leading him to that battle that day. I hope he’d have forgiven me for it. I’m so proud of him.”
“Verglasfang was an apprentice that taught me a lot about mentoring. They seemed like they had a lot going on, and I just wanted to be that safe space for them to express themself. I’m very happy with the warrior they’ve become, though I’m saddened by the things they’ve gone through. I still intend to be a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on if they ever need it…they’ve seen a lot.”
"I look up to Marblehop... His guidance and patience through my apprenticeship was what I needed most at the time - even if I didn't know it then... After my family was *murdered*, I was in a dark place... I still am. But having Marblehop here with me at every step of the way has definitely helped."
“Bugfreckle has grown tremendously. From the time he was a curious kitten to his tumultuous apprenticeship, and now a proud PeakClan warrior. He’s looked out for me for many moons now. His kindness is something to truly admire. And I must say he is the one of the best cats to stay next to in a cold leaf-bare!”
Cashewcurl gives an affirmative hum when he’s asked if he’s proud of his former apprentice Saltnose, but he then gets a little bit of a guilty look. After a series of questions about it, you discover that he feels bad about not being able to support Saltnose as an apprentice as much as he needed.
“Comfreycurl was my MeadowClan rival when I was young, hahaha! We became fast friends, I always admired her spunk and tenacity. She started to meet me at the clan borders every half moon or so just for us to chat. I miss her everyday, she was a great warrior. I hear she has a grandson still living, though we haven’t formally met yet.”
Cayennecurl was one of his very best friends. When she becomes the topic of conversation, Cashewcurl begins to purr softly despite the sad smile he takes on.
“Hmph. This cat was raised by my favorite and least favorite cats. Insane. She was a really cute kit. I’m not going to sit here and say I don’t like her. I know she wasn’t mine, but I still want her to succeed as if she was. I’m.. also grateful for her being my son Oilpaw’s friend. Yeah, she’s a cool little cat.”

Cashewcurl is seen looking on at Howlingpaw from across the clearing. Though proud, his gaze carries a bit of sadness in it, but he still smiles despite this.
At Warblerheart’s name being mentioned Cashewcurl jumps to attention. When the topic of her is brought up, he smiles widely and he starts to purr so loudly his whole body vibrates.
“Uuughhhh, Warblerheart. She’s so smart with those herbs and stuff. Now that smart just has to rub off on…everything else she does. And sometimes she doesn’t even realize a cat insulted her! No wonder I have to do it back for her, she’s too nice too!”
Luneecho locks eyes with Cashewcurl. They stare unblinking at each other for a conceriningly long amount of time. This happens nearly once a day, it seems they like each other.
Cashewcurl seems to be locked in an intense staring contest with Luneecho. This happens almost every time they make eye contact.
…it appears they’re friends then.
