Stars Align

With the school day coming to a close, as boring as ever, Ryker made his way out behind the school to his favorite spot; a lookout over Hau'oli City, perfect to watch the sun set from. And with the sky already bathed in orange color, the sun beginning to dip under the horizon, it was time for the best part of the... hey, wait, who's that girl sitting in his spot?

Palila, ever curious, had decided to come by the fabled spot to see why it was so special to that elusive classmate of hers. And she understood why almost instantly. The sight was so captivating that she barely noticed him standing over her.

After the best conversation either have had in a while, the two shake hands, agreeing to become friends. And, the next day, the two agree to do the Island Challenge together.

What starts out as a group of four friends from school having fun on a romp around Melemele Island quickly becomes a journey soaked in grief and hardship. From the increasingly difficult trials to past struggles relived to that mysterious katana-wielding Gengar that keeps rearing his head, there's little that the team hasn't gone through. And if that wasn't enough, there's the threat of a power-hungry god on top of it all. The party aren't ones to give up easily, however. No matter what struggles they face, they continue on for the titles of Champion.
