The continent of Vaiwhynne exists in a time comparable to medieval Earth, with some major advancements. While even the magical tend to deem them mere fairy tales, demons, angels, vampires and the like all roam the entirety of Vaiwhynne. While Vawn doesn't focus on any single plot or story, most characters live in the small, beatdown town of Scarcity.

A group of mismatched hunters based in Scarcity and "lead" by Jonah. SCH is rarely organized in their hunts, and none of the members get along all too well. Yet, somehow, they usually get the job done.. For better or for worse, this team of misfits has made a name for themselves in Scarcity.

Lead by Darkwolfe, Wolfgang is a demon hunting group based in Scarcity. Wolfgang is tight knit, each with a role to play, and usually a role they each play well. Despite easily being one of the most effective groups in Scarcity, many mistakenly underestimate them due to their ranks containing mostly humans, even if doing so would be a grave mistake.
A organization that's more myth then reality for most in Vaiwhynne. The Connections works quietly in the shadows to push their wants and needs, filled to the brim with powerful and specialized operatives. Their power spans over all of Vaiwhynne. Despite their influence, little is known about the organization by anyone but it's members.
Those who hunt followers of The Order, striking and silently disappearing into the shadows without a trace. Each misfits in their own right, Disorder gives home to those the realms of Vaiwhynne has turned their backs on.
A heroic group of individuals, banded together to fight the evil that dwells within Scarcity.. Or so they claim. Give or take some clashes in personalities, morals, and motives, they're all still working together towards the greater good.. right?

A small group who deems themselves "villains" of Scarcity. This group of individuals find joy in causing chaos and mischief in the streets of Scarcity, and if they end up clashing with the "heroes" or demon hunters along the way.. Well, that's just part of the fun, isn't it?
A passive group of mostly demons trying to make a comfortable life for themselves in Scarcity. They've been in Scarcity long enough to catch the attention of many active hunter groups, but rarely end up a target due to their usual choice to avoid the conflicts outside their home.
