Lor, after his mother death goes on a journey to fufill her last wish, giving her promise necklace to Lor's father who he never met. Early on his way he meets a traveling male midwife Ise and they go town to town. On this search they meet a bunch of people and Lor learns about the world current and past fallen religon, which was destroyed by the god of birth's jelousy.
