Centuries and centuries ago, when the continents were still compact in a single mass of land on Earth, the latter was one of the most prosperous colonies of a powerful race of stars: the Selenites. The Selenites were intrigued by Earth, a rich,unique planet full of phenomena to study and observe; but most of all, the Selenites were intrigued by the ecosystem that had formed on said colony, the human race: humans up to that moment had shown themselves to be peaceful beings, capable of self-determinating and surviving without their intervention. Many times the selenites had come dangerously close to Earth to observe their behavior more closely, but never enough to be recognized as real sentient beings. The phenomenon of shooting stars remained a simple astronomical event for many years, until, somewhere among the populations of Pangea, a curios human invented the first telescope. This was seen as an outright affronts by the Selenites, who were now fearful that humans had begun studying and observing them as well. Civilizations on earth began to evolve at an alarming rate, the more contraptions they invented, the more the Selenites were forced to hide from human eyes and loosen their gaze on the colony.

One fateful day,in the still quiet of the morning, a wayward star descended to earth, exposed, shining in the eyes of the peoples. Many names and descriptions were given to this star: Messiah, the creator, He, the all, the nothing;after the day of revelation (the enlightment day),Man began his violent and rapid self destruction.The music of the tambourines was replaced by the menacing trumpets of the armies, the green and cultivated meadows were devastated by the furious trotting of the horses, by the blood of the soldiers, by the fire of the cannons. Pangea was out of control.The populations, previously united by a sense of closeness and community, began to divide and honor their own version of the star, which over time and through different writings assumed increasingly different and distant characteristics from the original. Everyone wanted to defend their version of the messiah as the only real version.The Selenites finally intervened. It was war on Earth for decades and decades, the selenites could count on their superior strenght and intellect to exterminate entire populations,while humans rapidly succumbed to their violence. After many years Pangea had found it's long lost peace,but was now empty of life and resources.
