Dragon Ball Galaxy Drive (ドラゴンボルギャルクシードライブ Doragon Bōru Gyarukushī Doraibu) (commonly abbreviated as DBGD) is the fifth anime installment in the Dragon Ball franchise that began on November 1st, 2022. It is set in an alternate version of Dragon Ball Z seven years after the events of the Buu Saga, featuring an original cast of characters and a story heavily inspired by Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Heavily inspired by works such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Dragon Ball Galaxy Drive takes inspiration from both the colorful shoujo magical girl anime of the century... as well as how dark it can get.
