Blood Like Wine
BLOOD LIKE WINE .
This is the main universe a majority of my characters reside in.
Blood Like Wine is focused around two organizations; Memento Mori and In Vino Veritas. This is a universe that exists within the realms of modern fantasy, where you're able to find an average person who is friends with some flavor of mystical being and for questions not to be asked.
Memento Mori .
Memento Mori — Remember you must die.
On the outside to the general public, Memento Mori appears to be an upscale winery that has been around for roughly 50 years. To those that have dug below the surface, it's a front for a secret organization of vigilantes. Memento Mori is responsible for taking out assassinations against the corrupt (politicians, abusers, ect.) ranging from those in positions of power to your average everyday dirt bag. While their main focus is ridding the world of corruption, they also house orphans and have programs similar to that of witness protection to aid victims in rebuilding their lives physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially for as long as they may need. Memento Mori thrives as an organization of individuals who believe that death is an act of morality under certain conditions. Needless killing is frowned upon within the organization.
Vincent is the main owner of Memento Mori, as it had been passed down to him after the death of his grandmother. Memento Mori was ran by him and his husband, Casanova, until the two divorced and Nova branched off to work with In Vino Veritas.
In Vino Veritas .
In Vino Veritas — In wine there is truth.
Veritas is a bar that works in connection to Memento Mori. Here is where people are able to request services within Memento Mori by ordering special drink combinations that aren't listed on the menu. This is also where Memento Mori's medical wing is located, as it's hidden within the building in a secret passageway that leads to a vast infirmary that has been built underground with artificial lighting within the windows to give the illusion of being above ground to both patients and workers alike.
Casanova is the main owner of Veritas, but primarily works within the hospital. Entiral holds most control over the bar function of Veritas, but still follows orders under Nova.

For characters who exist within the Blood Like Wine universe, but aren't employed by Memento Mori or Veritas.
