Kohaku doesn't really fear anything, but there's one thing he's afraid of: Losing Styx. He'd do anything to keep him by his side.
But there's a part of him that believes Styx could do a lot better with someone else.
Kohaku is the first persom Styx ever respected out of admiration and love. Though it can be complex and difficult at times, his trust towards his boyfriend is almost unbreakable... and Styx wouldn’t want to leave him anymore.
Even though Blake is older than him and can't possibly be his real son, Hermann sees him as one. He knows how hard the life as a demon can be so he wants to help his son, regardless of what he'd done in his life so far. Just because he had a hard life doesn't mean he shouldn't have a loving family and a loving father which are there for him if he needs them.
Sharing some interests as working on cars and listening to some similiar music genres just helps to strengthen their bond.
Blake feels a familiar bond towards Hermann as he was the one to provide him with a home and somewhat of a father figure after Blake returned to Scotland. Irrated at first and fearing he could destroy his newfound 'family' with the bad luck that seemed to follow him, Blake was surprised that Hermann accepted him without judging what he did or what would still be coming. The demon would never betray or hurt him.
As Azrael took him like he was without trying to change or even hurt him, Vahir grew a deep love for the demon despite being afraid of them. He trusts him with his life and would do everything in return to keep Azrael safe. He admires his creative personality.
His 1 tru love
After everything he'd gone through Hermann believes everyone deserves another chance regardless of what they've done as long as they regret their misdoings and want to better themselves. He knows about Reinhardt's past and everything that happened to him; now he just wants to see him succeed in his new life with his new familiy, which he is happy to be a part of.
Reinhardt's presence helps him to overcome his past so that he can give his best in his job as exorcist and in their relationship. He'd do a lot if not everything for Reinhardt, even going through hell.. again.. and again.
Mostly just romantic feelings and a deep respect for how Hermann accepted him even though his own past wasn't as peaceful as one might suspect. Reinhardt loves him deeply and found a way through his boyfriend to accept himself and what he has done to work through his former, twisted views.
Despite not being physically able to do much, Reinhardt would give his best to do anything for his partner. He never scares away from making sure their family is happy and safe, even if he puts his health at risk.
Being afraid and suspicious at first, Shanti also had to learn how to overcome her prejudices against Erwin and learnt how much she actually adores about him - and how much they have in common, despite it not being obvious at first glance. He's the only person she can truly be herself around and where she can calm down and just ground herself. Erwins also the only one person able to tell her not to get wasted and fight the huge russian guy she challenged at the bar, so that's a plus.
Even though it seems unlikely due to his past and beliefs, Erwin really loves his wife and learned to overcome his views. Now he tries to give her a better life with better experiences regarding men, marriage, relationships and love.
He hates him. But respects him... somewhat. But also hates him
A mixture between disgust and curious admiration paints his feelings. Slight hatred can be found in this mixture.
Just another dumb kiddo who doesn't know anything about life, so Erwin has to teach him.
Blake is mainly afraid of Erwin, resulting in him fearing and somewhat "respecting" him to a certain degree. He would prefer to stay away and not interfere or even get in conflict with him, as he knows he would be inferior.
THEY HECKING GAY BROS
Sharing a similiar story and experiences, Blake hold a lot of respect over Azrael (which is rare for him as he tends to just not care about people). However, in this case, he feels almost drawn to the other demon to the point where he would even speak of something like 'love' (truth be told, he's bad at describing such things nowadays).
There's much he would do for Azrael without expecting something in return, which is very rare for Blake as he dislikes putting himself in danger or at risk for someone else, even if they're friends. Azrael is also one of the few people he doesn't want to betray - another rare thing for him.
While only feeling physical attraction first after their first meets it quickly turned into something more emotional soon after, to the point where Blake realized he'd be emotionally affected if something happened to their relationship or Azrael - or both.
Being afraid of that first he soon realized, after many centuries of being alone or just with casual relationships/dates/hook ups, that that wouldn't be a bad thing after all... their similarities just favours this. Their shared interests makes it easier for Blake to find something they both care about and can fawn about; something he really cares about since he wouldn't be as comfortable with someone he has little to no similiarities with.
TL;DR: they're fucking gay bros. Gayros. Gyros? I'm hungry.
