A horror vn following the life of a college student after accidentally awakening something very old and very evil. In exchange for his life he began helping it blend into human society and gather meals. The story focuses on the relationship between the two and Kei's attempts to justify his own behavior. No one involved are actually pals.
A monster that awakens every few hundred years to feed. It doesn't undertand humans particularly well yet but it's cheerful and friendly.
A human who narrowly survived being killed and eaten by a monster in exchange for helping it find more prey. Usually very social and popular but he's been having a bad few months.
A human in a similar situation to Kei, but with much less concern over the outcome of her actions. She's a borderline shut-in and generally an unpleasant person to be around.
A similar monstrosity with a deep love of humans. She's able to fit in with them on her own quite well, if a bit behind on her decades. Generally upbeat with a surprising amount of empathy.
