They are one of the comical, villainous groups of rogues in space that steal valuables from others. They also partake in bounty-hunting despite them having bounties themselves

They aren’t an official group of starscouts even though they act as one. They always annoyingly call starscouts “starwreckers” or anything adjacent to piss them off

There’s no way that Captain Merit could’ve used to be a legitimate captain since she’s too young, so she had a badge custom-made for her. The other clothing items and weaponry were all stolen. They all used to be starscouts until they became rogue
