HOWDY! 🤠🌈 check out my own characters to get a good general vibe of what i'm interested in! keep in mind this list varies, this is just a briefcase of what i mostly lean towards when you create me a design, keep in mind i want freedom. (altering, being able to edit, or trade) this is a bulletin i made for getting artistic designs by others, or general design interest! if you haven't noticed already, the characters i design are heavily realistically, naturally colored.

 if there's something you hadn't noticed already: i love big body types! round or bigger characters (and frankly all the ocs i have are) i REALLY enjoy characters that have their markings based on real animals, if you have a real reference you're using for a character, send that along as i like to keep tabs on them!

For example: kurt , a 1899 based character who's markings are based on a real bull. 
 scully , a lighthouse keeper who's markings are based on a real sheepdog
i tend to create characters WITH occupations and THEMES!

  simple & unique patterns, nature/realistic/organic markings, 
natural colors, well-blended markings or soft gradients

Species
Any animals in general! personally I do not mind whether it's drawn in feral or anthro (whatever is easier), all my characters are anthro however! It is a preference but not whatsoever a requirement. I really like getting characters of a species I don’t already have!

hooved animals, canines of all kind, big cats, marine animals, smaller creatures (skunks, chipmunks, wolverines, etc) you are free to ask me beforehand!

Fashion wise
I love characters that have are living in specific era with that certain clothing type! there's two ways you can go about this depending on what you choose to create based on the ocs i have! most of my characters are surrounding the 16th century through the 90s! i like older aesthetics. and ocs mostly older in age, cowboys, authority figures, jocks, etc!! armor if its some oc related in an era other than modern. I really like nautical themes!

 for example: for younger characters, you can make them children based anywhere from the 16th century to 2000.
for adults, make them HIMBOS! big dumb and lovable buggers. for older characters, anything that screams "dad!" or "grandpa!" 

 i WELCOME bearded and burly masculine characters! In general:  truckers, lumberjacks, fancy or elegant clothing like suits, Hawaiian shirts, overalls or work clothes, varsity jackets, etc! make it up as you go along to give you a general feel, since these themes I likely already have characters of


I don't like
hybrids... like a dog with antlers or something really  out of its element and that isn't realistic, UNLESS it is a fantasy creature stated above. fan-made characters (mlp, fnaf, sonic, pokemon) UNLESS it's from a topic i like (message me regarding this! I would love even a character based off one of my favorite films!) basically bad fashion sense or characters that have no theme. If you do have a theme I might like that isn’t listed here feel free to reach out! Markings that don’t mix well

  really skinny characters, closed species, offensive subjects, bad color combos & fashion sense. generic aesthetics or unnatural coloring, piercings, feminine characters
