Dead Man's Drink

Beings, mostly vampires, who simply cannot choose their fate. At least, not now. These creatures, while highly intelligent, struggle with the loss of humanity, but still conflict with morality. These people don't tend to kill out of their own volition, or "sake." Instead, it's often because they're attacked first, or in need of food, or some other reason that doesn't correlate with The Ego. These people are beings though, have turned into undead, still hold the values of humanity dear and near, and cannot function without them.

At least, currently. Dead Man's Drink tends to help them find their way, whether that be fighting for what's right, or killing hundreds for jocularity.

Vampires, or creatures, who simply don't have the brain capacity to 'want' anything or to comprehend morality. What humans would consider zombie-like and brainless, they wander around purely on instinct, and feast for survival and not sadism. More often than not, when you ask these people questions, their response is a dead stare, or a "Huh?"

For those who aren't vampires, but still qualify under the label as mortal-eater. Could be classified as other mythological creatures that don't fit, such as sirens, angels, demons, and the like. Though not affiliated with Dead Man's Drink, you can find these people blending in with the rest of society, much easier than others. 

The woe of vampirism is surely a unique one. 

Not necessarily vampires, but beings sometimes beyond comprehension. Somewhat of a deity-like figure, they tend to be "gods" of new religion in the afterlife. There are different gods for each side of vampirity, but no one is required to praise these. In fact, religion is niche and treated as fictitious in the undead communities. 

After all, if God existed, they surely wouldn't be here?

For beings that air on the side of mankind, still retaining touches of humanity despite being undead. They hold an unusual sense of compassion and morality for creatures of the night, and it tends to "freak" a majority of other vampires. Usually, is comprised of vampires who were once humans themselves, rather than born one. 

These vampires tend to feast on small animals and cattle, and are labeled as Farmer's by the general public. Being a "farmer" is to be ostracized and isolated from both undead and mortal communities.

Too vampire to be accepted as a human, but too human to be accepted as a vampire. 

For Vampires who purely run on ID (ego) and the vampiristic instinct to hunt and survive. More often than not, these vampires kill not just for food, but for amusement. They do things purely for the hell of it, and nothing else. Most tend to be calculated, and powerful, but not always, as a big part of ID is impulse control. Most of these have lost that part of their brain long ago.

Trying to convince them there are more peaceful ways of life tend to go to waste- they no longer consider themselves a "life" and rather a blight on the living. A civic duty, one might say.
