(Sci-Fi, Comic/Story) After the 3rd world war destroyed most of Earth, the remaining survivers rebuilt. Though the ability for space travel was lost, one scientist left their notes on Time Travel behind. By the 2190s, a rennaisance of technology and culture had brought the world into a new age. Time Travel was used to experience history firsthand, to teach others and to enrich oneself. However, an underground organization known as the Timesplitters emerged, and used time travel as a means of going back in time and taking precious relics from that time into the present or attempting to re-write history. Changing the timeline in this manner created devastating temporal fissures on earth. This necessitated the creation of a group of time-travelers to combat this nefarious group, eventually becoming the world's superpower: The Allied Passengers of Spacetime (APST).
