tara- earth aligned, light-spirited and cheery, greenery witch
she  has 1 animal familiar, a cat named booky who is kinda of like her  child, he was already highly intelligent but she was able to give him a  potion to also give him a more human form.

sammie-a young  witch in training, enthusiast cheerful, clumsy but with a heart of gold,  affinity with magic of "love", love isn't inherently romantic, but love  of friends, family, advisors and your neighbors, she has a power to help  and heal through love. loves arroz con leche (or rice pudding) for  breakfast, along with pomegranates and blueberries

carol-  an apprentice under eclaire, a bit stuck up, especially for a 14yr old,  she's stubborn about her feelings and struggles to open up, really wants  others approval.

cerise- a famous witch of spring, samantha's older sister, tara is in love with her

spice and herb

celina- halloweenie witch, does mostly herbal remedies, curses, transfiguration and stuff

mayumi her  powers are more dealing with supernatural beings and giving  them/helping spells for werewolfves,vampires and fae. can commune with  ghost and yokai, she doesn't like dealing with european beings which are  more evil based compared to eastern spirtit/animal based
employs Kulam or "Pagkukulam" is a form of folk magic practiced in the Philippines. It puts emphasis on the innate power of the self and a secret knowledge of Magica Bajaor low magic.  Earth (soil), fire, herbs, spices, candles, oils and kitchenwares and  utensils are often used for rituals, charms, spells and potions.

PLOTLINE

Samantha  is a witch in training, going to school and "interning" under Tara who  is a witch of life and greenery, booky is Tara's familiar and  magical/shapeshifting cat who is about the same age as Samantha and  Debbie, Debbie and Booky are inhuman whereas the witches are mostly  human.

Celenia is a recluse who teaches at the school. Mayumi is  deep in the forest hidden under several veils, only those in desperate  need can find her, but she is always willing to help. She and tara work  together in an alliance though they can't quite be called friends.

Tara runs a botany shop as well as teach samantha.
