. True Timeline

honestly. theres a lot for me to patch up so bear with me but the general premise is:
- creator god creates atlas
- atlas destroys creator god
- cosmo ends up in creator gods body
- eons later, a planet with life in it forms w/o them noticing
- on the planet, saturn and jupiter are the first to spawn
- saturn overwhelms jupiter and seals them away
- mercury, uranus and mars spawn (4.6bil yrs ago)
- when water appears, neptune spawns (i i forgot how long ago)
- when humans appear, venus spawns (7 million years ago)
- cosmo and atlas finally notice this random planet and decide to have a gander
- hilarity ensues
- atlas obedient
- atlas questioning obedience
- atlas realises he has nothing to lose and cosmo fails to stop him
- this happens again like 6 times
- everyone gives up and accepts that hes not a good person
- after things happen, mars gets married to chaos
- yayy. business as usual

. Diverging Timelines

that one's called the 'true timeline' cause it's at the root of all the lore. we have a multiverse system going on where any possibility stemming from the true timeline is another completely seperate universe out there. as long as:
- there actually IS a possibility of it happening
- it's seperate enough from the true timeline to exist on its own (like..if mars had blue hair it wouldn't really change much so it's not an entirely new thing)
- it begins the way the true timeline did
i guess..?? we don't really have rules for it it's jsut funny. cosmo has free travel between these universes though; he found a way so he'd be able to figure out how to keep atlas in check in case he decides to be hilarious again. he can bring people to other timelines with him, but there's two concrete rules in regards to that:
- they cannot exist in the alternate universe
- it cannot be a universe which the reality diverges from
in other words, none of the alternate universes can impact the true timeline. there's one exception but i'll do that some other time lol (it was mars)
