in the red-sanded australian outback, nestled in a small crater created by a meteor long ago, lies the rocky camp of the tribe of fallen stars. their name originates from the star that fell to create their home. life is tough in the rugged, scorching wilderness, but these cats are tougher.

camp: located in an indent in the earth where a falling meteor hit the earth seasons and seasons ago. it is a natural hollow and well protected by sheer rock faces surrounding it. there is a short tunnel scraped through the earth that is used to enter and exit the camp. bushes and small palms grow inside the hollow. a natural spring bubbles out of the earth, giving the cats easy access to water. cave of star pool: the cave is at the top of a tall mountain. a precarious path leads its way up and around to the cave. many cats have fallen to their death trying to reach the pool. inside the large cave, the floor is mostly covered by water that drips from the ceiling and winds its way into the pool. a hole in the cave wall lets the stars shine through and reflect off the water. sun-touch hills: high hills that are bare of any plants due to the amount of heat and sunlight they get. not shelter. prey is both hard to catch and hard to find up here. long-walk barrens: a long stretch of empty land that lies between the camp and the flood-lands. can be dangerous due to stampedes of camels and brumbies and their stone-sharp feet. no cover or shelter. flood-lands: an important place for collecting herbs. the travel here is dangerous, but it is necessary. in the cooler seasons the lands are awash with muddy water. the dry seasons can dry up the entire flood-lands. tall cliffs: sheer, vertical cliffs that are impossible to climb. small caves dot the walls. ancient rock-tree a tall tree that appears to be turned to rock. it is said to be a very spiritual place. to-bes usually gossip of ghosts in the area. this area has many winding streams and a good collection of herbs.
