☆Tunaverse!☆ was started by four high school girls, they decided they wanted to become an idol group and dropped out of school to pursue this dream. They designed their own costumes, wrote their own songs, and choreographed their own dances. Despite all their effort they never took off and were quite disliked by those who watched them who thought they were just trying to copy more popular idol groups.

They ended up having to go on hiatus after a hater threw something on stage and injured Tee. During this break Yuu discovered the artist Dedf1sh, an Octoling DJ who performed better due to being sanitized. She suggested that the group follow in her footsteps, sure that it would make them all popular. All of them left for Kamabo, except for Tee who was against the idea and still recovering from her injury.

When her fellow bandmates didn't return for some time, Tee went after them. She found them deep in Kamabo, all sanitized, and decided to join them. Her sanitization process wasn't completed though as a manager scouted them mid-procedure and rebranded them as the darker Tunaversal☆, which is now a very popular idol group in and outside of the Peninksula.
