once, a warehouse was built. it stretched countless miles, grey walls so high they disappeared beyond the clouds. within it lay a labyrinth of boxes connected to one another by cardboard tubes and popsicle stick bridges, some glued end to end and given crudely carved exit wounds to allow travel between them.
