esperanza works. she wakes up, gathers her equipment, gets her orders from la familia, and she does as she's told. she doesn't question hits or refuse orders, simply follows through with them, gets paid, and takes care of her daughter, and calls it a day. rinse and repeat. todos los dias.
olimar works. put's on his costume, fancy jewelry and mask included, so he can entertain the city on orders from la familia. he gets paid, goes to the actors shared home and calls it a day. rinse and repeat. todos los dias.
but then la familias matriarch is murdered in broad daylight. no one knows who did it, but all claws point to an actor in olimar's company. esperanza has two weeks to find the killer of the matriarch. succeed and the innocent company members are spared execution. fail and not only will every actor be killed, but so will she.
the clock is ticking, and the city of pariso is turning into its very own pantomime.
