OUR TERMS OF SERVICE

Global Terms

• Don't resell adopts for more than you purchased them for. (No scalping allowed :/)
  • That being said, if you purchased art, you may resell the adopt for the price of the adopt + the art.
• Do not use our designs to promote hate speech or intolerant beliefs.
• You have 48 hours to reply to our messages asking for payment before your claim becomes void and the adopt goes back up for offers.
• Upon purchase, the design will be transferred to you through TH (if you have one Hi Tumblr Users) or by being sent the HQ transparent file.
• Do not remove monthlymotifs from the designer role on the adopt! We use our design tab to show off every past adoptable we've made!
• Minor edits are allowed but the design must stay recognizeable as the adopt.
• All designers reserve the right to use their designs on a portfolio, artbook, showcase, or anything of the like.
• Unless otherwise specified, all designs are for PERSONAL USE ONLY.
  • Commercial use is defined as anything you plan on making money off of. This includes, for example, use in merch, monetized webcomics and webseries, or as mascots for a brand.
• Those found violating these terms will be put onto a blacklist, adopts may be reposessed, depending on the severety of the violation.
• Changes to TOS do not apply retroactively, however, we reserve the right  to ask for our designs back in case the current owner does something with our designs that we did not anticipate and are uncomfortable with.

Individual's Terms

Because Monthly Motifs is a collaborative art project, each creator will have their own individual terms and conditions!

You can find the creators' terms of service in the ownership tab of the character page for each adoptable!

The creators' TOS takes priority over our TOS!

This means, if one of their rules contradicts the group's TOS, go by their rule rather than ours!
