Okay, I'll admit I wasn't a fan of these first. Cause opening the general "what did you draw today?" is much more convenient than peeking into 10 separate threads to see other people's arts (I might not be interacting with any of you but I do be looking). But also everyone seems to be moving into their own threads so guess I'll go too. At least here I'm going to post every crap I make without feeling bad about it, I had to restrain myself from spamming the og thread.
Anyways, yes hello I'm Atempause, they/them. I draw 90% of the time my idiot ocs and the other 10% fanarts to things only 5 people still care about cause I'm always late to the fandom.
I use Firealpaca and draw on 7 years old laptop that was twice in repair already with a tablet that's about 11 years old. My setup belongs in a museum lol

more oc digistuff. they are fun to draw and poke around the official designs to alter them to make them into characters. i am so tired and stressed and sad past two weeks or so, i need something fun
drew tailmon, resized down to fit next to the ref, proceed to delete the layer file forgetting to save it on it's own with it's fullsize so this is the only pic of it i got now. i might be stupid
ngl I was so excited to see you post some Digimon stuff along with artfight and your own OCs! <3 I absolutely love your takes on them, and the altering bits of the designs to make them into their own unique characters. Nefertimon/Tailmon in particular with their backstory and having been infected with the virus is super neat. I was just looking at Soma's digisquad tab too and the info you have for the base forms. (My whole heart goes out to Wizardmon)
You already know I adore your artwork and style so I'll try not to bore with repeating myself too much, but I just have to say again how beautiful your coloring is. You really know how to convey textures and blend the shadows and lights in to make everything look so atmospheric, to pull the viewer into the intensity of say like, a character's personality or personal dilemmas, or show off the picture-perfect snapshot of them. Your scenes, your way of storytelling with everything from environments to portraits is phenomenal and makes everything seem all the more real. I've been checking in here and just admiring your newest works, and seeing you do more pieces for your own characters, like Zakki's guardian form!
I'm sorry also things have been tough for you too D: It's good to have something fun to focus on and take some of the weight off of it. Thanks always for sharing your awesome work, and hoping that things look up for you!
will need to work on their personalities some more once i get the time, tho prolly not as much as for regular ocs, these lads are here to take a break from the seriousness and overly long profile descriptions nobody reads anyway lmao. still want to do designs for gaiomon and beelzemon oh boy. those are gonna be wild to draw
aw thank you!! ;v; tbh i can't write for the life of me, the dry wikipedia description style of oc profile is the most i can do which sucks for writing actual stories so drawing some scenery is me hoping ppl get what's going on in the story i'll never write haha. need to get back on that, art fight put any bg works on hold
