I'm about to give up on pixel art because no where but dA, and even that's a stretch now, is pixel art friendly.
I know there's sites dedicated to pixel art, but they're such small communities, I mean like tumblr or deviantART sized art sites/social media sites. Facebook also turns everything into jpeg so..Should I finally really move onto digital instead of pixel?

I already have a pixiv and just waiting for the english side to grow, but to be fair i've been waiting for 2 years.
weasyl only goes to a forum for me. o.o I just made a wysp and testing to see how pixel art looks on it.
Is there a tutorial to resize in gimp?

That's what I meant by not pixel art friendly, they turn the previews into eyesores, making people not want to click them. :\
I'll try the crack for resizing pixels on tumblr.
I haven't been on dA much recently but in general I remember pixels as being super popular? Maybe my experience is different from yours but from what I know people love pixels. People here really like them too. I know places like tumblr aren't ideal for them, but lots of people post them anyway and gain a following from them.

They are but unless you're already popular, there's a likely chance you're not going to get commissions for pricing fairly. There's even popular artists who get harassed for selling pixels at 8-15$. The economy is terrible on there, and I'm looking for a less outrageous community. dA can get pretty hostile and full of harassment as the admins gave up a long time ago.
Ooh that sucks yeah, selling art for super cheap is honestly such a problem. If you're looking for good commissioners though, I agree with Remivalism, Furaffinity is where to go. I've heard so many good stories about furry commissioners :>
