I will not rp with anyone under 20 outside of rp communities.
I do not rp smut, enslavement, or torture.

Hi, my name is Bastion!  I’m currently unemployed due to disabilities, giving me plenty of free time and a need for socialization.  Roleplay has always been key in helping me connect with others.  I enjoy talking outside of roleplay, but I can get overwhelmed if it becomes daily discussions of life and the such.  I want to be friends, but I do need some boundaries, if that makes sense.

I’m looking for partners who are inspired and have a story they want to tell or a character they know how to develop.  I run a D&D campaign and occasional oneshots, so I’m burnout on running the show.  I still do my best to contribute, and I prefer headcanoning before rp to properly work out the plot before we start.  Headcanoning scenes just really helps me stay focused.

You can find my currently available characters here: link

I’m mainly using male characters, since I’ve been identifying with masculinity more recently.  I do have female and nonbinary characters as well, they’re just being added to my roster slower than my boys.

Black List

  • ALWAYS FADE TO BLACK. I'm fine with things getting steamy if it feels right, but it must fade to black immediately.
  • No abuse. I'm interested in healthy, wholesome relationships. There should never be abuse between muses.  This also includes torture, enslavement, and anything else where one party suffers.
  • No tragedy. Bad things happen, but they shouldn't happen constantly. Any traumatic incidents should be followed with comfort.
  • No age-gaps with minors. I am not comfortable with characters having age-gaps of even a year if one or both are under 18.
  • Keep violence description-light. If violence happens, including combat, and descriptions of injuries should be kept brief.  I’m uncomfortable with hooked injuries, but otherwise you can mention almost anything.  Just don’t go into all the details about the pain and gore.

Partner Requirements

  • Competent writer with basic knowledge of grammar.  Occasional errors are fine, but I have processing issues that makes it incredibly draining if I have to decipher multiple sentences with multiple errors.
  • Inspired with ideas for character interactions, plot, and / or individual character development.
  • Respectful of all people.  Depictions of marginalized people you are not a part of done respectfully and with at least the minimum of research.  (Actually looking up accounts from someone with DID for instance, rather than perpetrating multiple personality myths.)
  • Active once or twice a week.  I don’t need someone who’s on everyday, responding 5+ times or anything like that.  (It would exhaust me.)  I’m just hoping to find partners who can sit down for an hour or two at a time and actively write out a scene with me.  I prefer completing a scene when we’re free over daily replies.
  • [Optional] A narrator / GM who’s willing to control the plot and NPCs while I play me way through the story.  This is not necessary, of course, but it would be such a treat to not have to run everything for once.

Starter Example

"Did you see the dragon eat at all?  Does it have sharp teeth?  How big were the teeth?"

Ea had been bombarding the party the whole trip.  Everytime she got an answer, she had ten more questions.  At least it made the walk go by quicker.

"Can ye be quiet for five seconds?" Delg huffed, snuffing out the tiefling's constant babble in an instant.  The dwarf was hunkered down as they walked, eyes constantly darting around.  He was too anxious to notice how sad he'd made Ea.

"Eh, don't feel bad," Orsik sighed, shaking his head.  "Delg's just scared we'll get attacked by a bird.  He saw one carry off his cousin years ago."

Ea perked up immediately, beginning her babble anew.  "A bird?  It must have been a roc!  I didn't know any nested in these parts!  Where did it happen?"

Reply Example

The cookfire illuminated Therai from behind as he rose.  He was a towering shadow, thick horns adding to the inhuman height.  The barest hint of an orange glow hovered where his eyes should be, the unnatural light of his eyes escaping the curtain of his veil.

It took a moment for Therai's eyes to readjust to the darkness.  He picked out the shifting shadow, turning slightly.  Hands out in a welcoming gesture, Therai bowed gently.  "Well met, friend.  Please join me at my fire.  There is enough food for the both of us."
