Pokemon Avalon takes place in the fictional Aemtochi region. Years ago, a strange phenomenon caused many individuals in the region to awaken strange powers, later dubbed as Crests. After an event that could only be described as a six month war, an Academy has been established in the region that seeks to teach and research crests, as well as teaching the energy known as Aura to those without Crest potential.
