the amount of people who dont even check the forum secktions descriptions before posting and/or purposefully post in the wrong place in general is just legit disapointing, it sure is a bit stressfull to be looking for one thing and have a huge amount of basically spam in the middle of it. I sure hope people follow your adivice on this
Okay newest edit, I’m bumping this because the amount of trade posts I see here is insane! Just stop! Use the adoption center! It exists for a reason!

Making this thread because I see a growing trend here on the forum.
Onto the actual thread. Why should you not put purges into the freebie forums? Simple... they aren’t free. That’s it. Easy as that.
Edit: I honestly think that no one should be posting any offers on a post in the freebie threat at all! If there are offers in the comments on your post in the freebie forum, then it clearly belongs in the ‘adoption center’ forum, not the freebie forum!

Besides you could always make a post about freebies and promote your sale at the bottom of the thread. Your entire post should not be about your purge, but you can always make a little promotion (like a link to a different thread). (Edit: With advertising I mean a link to a different post, there should not be offers on a freebie post!)
Start using this forum for what it’s supposed to be used! I’m done seeing people not giving a care in the world. I’m sure I’m not the only one annoyed by this. People come here for free ocs, if they want to spend money or trade characters or give art then they will look at a different forum.

Another edit: a lot of people use the ‘Freebie Bin 2.0’, the ‘a little advertisement is okay’-statement I made does NOT count on that thread! The rules specifically state not to promote sales or trades!!!

Louder for the people in the back! The whole forum is full of purges who 90% of which either don't have any freebies or the freebs are entirely gone.
It’s the same for the freebie filtering on browse. They’re marked as free then they are for trade and need money or whatever
