Hi! I'm a big fan of the tagging system on toyhouse- I think it's really fun to go through and tag your friends' characters in pictures they're in! But there's a pretty serious loophole...
If I tag someone's OC in a picture, they are then given editing rights to the image, where they can add their own description, set their own crop, etc... But they are also allowed to delete the image from my gallery.
All they have to do is go to where the tags are, and delete my OC from the tags, and the image is completely wiped from that OC's gallery..!!
In this picture here, I have tagged a friend's OC, Haruka, and I have the ability to delete Haruka's tag from the image. Which is innocuous enough, but if I delete the tag, it removes the entire image from her gallery. And because their OC is tagged here, they have access to this on their side as well, so they are able to delete my OC Haruhi's tag as well, and completely remove the image from her gallery.
This can pave the way for a lot of people to spitefully delete images from someone's gallery without permission should their OC be tagged, or even for someone to mistakenly delete images from their gallery because they don't know that removing the tag removes the image...
If an OC has like 10 images, it should be easy enough to find out which one got deleted and replace it.... But if an OC has a lot of art, it can be a big hassle trying to track down which image was deleted so you can reupload it.
I definitely think that people should be able to delete tags if they aren't involved with the people they're tagging anymore, but they shouldn't be able to delete what's in someone else's gallery when they do so..!

While people will definitely abuse this feature to either purge their OCs profiles, or just out of spite... I don't think it's worth removing simply because of the fear someone will spitefully delete something. It's like with blocking users; sure, some people will abuse the blocking feature on any platform, but it doesn't change the fact it's a useful tool for some people. Here's my suggestion:
Imagine you want to remove Haruka's tag on the picture; rather than deleting the tag without warning, it gives you a popup message saying: "Are you sure you want to remove this tag?"
It'll give you two options; choosing no will result in the popup disappearing, and the tag will not be deleted. However, choosing yes will result in the popup saying "Provide a reason for why", and from there you can give a reason for deleting the tag.
A notification will be sent to your friend; this notification will be under the character transfer tab, and allow for the owner to decide to accept or decline the request for deletion of tag; which will also decide whether or not the picture will stay in the gallery.
If the owner accepts, the picture is deleted from the gallery. If they decline, nothing happens.
This isn't a perfect solution by any means, but I think it's more helpful than just removing the ability to delete tags.

I just wanted to clarify that I'm not advocating for them to remove the ability to delete tags at all! I actually just want the act of deleting the tag to keep the picture in the other person's gallery. Like, say if I deleted Haruka's tag, it would remove the tag from my "version" of the image, but Haruka's gallery would be unaffected, and either it can leave Haruhi's tag on Haruka's version of the image, or it can remove Haruhi's tag from Haruka's version of the image but the image is still in her gallery.
Deleting tags is great! I just don't like that it deletes the picture with it is all! Altho some kind of notification before deleting a tag would be great to prevent accidental mis-clicks ASDUIAHDUS Hopefully that makes more sense..!
