+1 man i could really use this lately
I'm sure this has been made before, and it feels like something that must be added already, but I don't see an option for it on character galleries; a way to request artist credit the way character credit is requested? I've had... a lot of people repost art I've done for them and leave the credit as the default self-credit, and it feels like such a small thing to report someone over. It would make things way easier if I could just point out that it needs credit with a button!

October 5th clarification: this would be to add an inline button to request the addition of art credits, the way you can request to add a character to an image or request creator credits; most artists would find it much easier and less stressful to press a button to request credit rather than having to specifically contact each individual person who reposts without correct, or off-site, credit - especially when someone who doesn't credit might be outright hostile to being corrected. It would make the site much easier to deal with for artists for a minimum of adjustment, imo!

this is especially kind of mildly frustrating when its alts of art that is credited to you that the uploader just forgot to credit. its annoying to have to confront every little time because it doesnt seem worth it, much easier to just rq it similar to character creation

i have a lot of bases on my toyhouse, and people tend to just leave the default self credit on instead of adding me as the base creator, so i think it would be really helpful!! i also have people who i interact with off-site and later find that they have an account here and have been posting art by me lol

+1 I have a lot of art not credited to myself and also no way to search through images to find art not credited properly to myself. Would really appreciate this!
This would be useful, especially if you can add others as creds. im not sure if im repeating someone but eg.
you have a character thats super old and you lost a lot of the creds, other people recognise some of the art and request that artist for it!!
it would be more useful than making a bunch of posts about 'help! i dont know who drew this'
