⏸️💱 Assigning your IC what Pokémon they would be!

Hello hello! I've been on a roll for making Pokémon AUs of character today and I thought I'd bring it to the forums! How this work is I will be assigning your IC a Pokémon NOT THAT THEY WOULD USE, but one they would be if they were turned into a Pokémon. Think of it like the Pokémon mystery dungeon games. Normally I don't ask for things in return for these posts, but due to the extended amount of effort I go through to make these AUs (checking both dex entries, design, type, and evolution line), plus the large amount of people who are into Pokemon, to prevent flooding and having to close the thread every 5 seconds, I'd like to ask for something in return this time.

To receive one, please EITHER (NOT ALL 3 (though that's very sweet of you if you do)):

subscribe to me
meaningful comment/hc one of my characters (excluding favs of friends)
3 favs (above link) (please list who you faved because my notifs mess up sometimes and don't tell me everyone who faved a character)
willing to take other offers if you've already done all/some of these <3 if you have, you're a goddamn gem and just know that ily and I love your characters and it's so much fun seeing them back every time - honestly I might just give one on the house if I recognize you

Just be sure to let me know which you did so I can make sure I can spot you out! You can do multiple submissions, but you will still need to do the requirements for each character you submit, and they must be one at a time.

Also note, I will be giving a wide range of pokemon, not just the popular ones. Everybody forgets about midstages! Legendaries will be limited to godlike characters. Most if not all will have explanations, unless it's such an obvious pick it explains itself. For Pokémon characters, I try to avoid making their assignment one of the Pokémon in their team!

If the thread has a pause emoji in the title, it's on pause and not taking any submissions currently! These will be in the thread itself's title, not the masterlist title. If you post in one of these while it is on pause you will be skipped.
- I run a lot of forum posts and I need rest from them sometimes, allowing a queue to build up just builds stress on me. I will try my best to make a post explaining when it is on and off pause.
- For forums that have requirements to receive something (ex: favs, subs, ect.), this might be pardoned, but still heavily discouraged.
I get to everyone in chronological order, so just hang tight!
Please understand that if you submit a character with no form of personality or story, I cannot in confidence judge them properly. I will accept them, however, please do not upset if it does not fit the character you submitted.

It wields the most compelling hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, and it forces others to do whatever it wants.

I thought this would be fitting for her cunning personality, and it has some kick to it if you give it the Contrary ability, making it a formidable foe.

Anyway Simon simon that's right okay okay omg. First of all I LOVE his art... and after reading I LOVEV HIM. This is someone I'd def put in my favs for friends if I got to know him in an RP better... As for his assignment... let's go with Inteleon!

Its nictitating membranes let it pick out foes' weak points so it can precisely blast them with water that shoots from its fingertips at Mach 3.

This is the certified gun Pokémon so I just had to. If this doesn't work though, I STRONGLY considered Murkrow.

For each request I'd say do one of the listed criteria again, just to make it fair! As for Gaoth... To keep the theme of being a taxi driver, more specifically in the PMD world, I decided to go with a large pokemon that could support all types of travel... I initially wanted to do Mantine, but it turns out it can't learn Fly. And using a pokemon from his team would just be straight up cheating. Going off of personality, I decided to go with Gyrados!

I'm not using pokedex entries here, but look at this thing. Do you know how many pokemon you could fit on that like a bus? And, there's ways to hold onto it underwater. And before you say Gyrados can't fly, play Pokemon Legends Arceus. They fly alright. If this doesn't work though, I also considered: Togekiss, Mantine, and Latios (but went against it because legendary/mythical).

Smeargle marks the boundaries of its territory using a body fluid that leaks out from the tip of its tail. Over 5,000 different marks left by this Pokémon have been found. The fluid of Smeargle’s tail secretions changes in the intensity of its hue as the Pokémon’s emotions change.

Being a journalist, I thought this would be fitting, plus, Smeargle has an ability called Moody, which I thought would also be fitting for the personality.

At first I thought this was going to be easy, but after checking the dex entry of my first initial thought... NOPE! So, I went with Florges!

It controls the flowers it grows. The petal blizzards that Florges triggers are overwhelming in their beauty and power. Its life can span several hundred years. It’s said to devote its entire life to protecting gardens.

At first I thought Tapu Lele but... reading it's dex entry, Lele is a BITCH.

YES OF COURSE I DO??? I've loved it ever since I was 12, I've read the book maybe five times! I have all of the movies memorized by heart, hell, TWO of my friends can vouch that I have literally written WORD FOR WORD the entire movie script to them ALONG WITH THE ACTIONS because they couldn't watch it. I was a crackhead autistic kid and TCOMC was my BREAD AND BUTTER. It STILL is.
