Getting started in Kiwiqween can feel tough if you don't have an adoptable of your own. However, there are plenty of ways you can obtain an adoptable, many of which are free!
- Buy a premade adoptable.
- I know what you're thinking. Buy a premade? But you just said they're free! And that's true, there are plenty of 'free' ways to obtain an adoptable. However, this is the fastest and easiest way of obtaining your first adoptable. Purchase one!
- Buy a MYO ticket.
- Kiwi, you just said there'd be plenty of ways to get freebies. MYO tickets are discounted items that allow you to make your own adoptable at a discounted price from what they'd be sold for. It also allows you to have complete creative control over an adoptable, or hire that dream artist of yours that isn't currently staff.
- Purchase a MYO ticket with Kiwi Coins
- We've developed a fictional currency to reward you for your participation in the species. It's called the Kiwi Coin system. It takes a bit of time to save up your Kiwi Coins, but once you have them, you can use them to purchase MYO tickets, upgrades for your MYO tickets, and other game-boosting items! Check it out!
- Win a raffle, DTA, WTA, or 'free' competition.
- I require all my artists (including myself) to host at least one free adopt any month they host a paid adoptable. Raffles will take the least amount of effort; usually requiring you just to comment to enter. WTA/DTA are more competitive and time intensive, but they are still considered free and cost you nothing.
- Get one from another member.
- Owners of adoptables already made are allowed to trade their adoptables for art, other adoptables, or, if they've paid for them, currency. You can purchase an adoptable from another member if they're allowed to, and you can also trade artwork, other Kiwiqween adoptables, or even Kiwi Coins in exchange for their adoptable.
- Breed two adoptables together
- This will likely not be the way you obtain your first Kiwiqween adoptable, but it will likely be where you obtain more of your Kiwiqween adoptables. Breeding your characters together is a good way to get one or even multiple new adoptables at once. Sometimes breedings are free, sometimes they're paid for.
