ALDORA
~ Mothcats America Main Setting ~

Characteristics - A large island off the coast of the main continent, Aldor. It is known as a Mothcats sanctuary and is home to the most diverse population of Mothcats.
Locations
Aran Lake - Large lake located to the south of Morel Hollow. Water source for resident Mothcats.
Morel Hollow (Main Setting!) - Center of Aldora. Boasts incredible Mothcat activity and is the main area where Mothcats can be found. It is a very green and forest-y area, surrounded by many plants, trees, and fungi.
Rion Peak - Rocky mountainous area in Eastern Aldora. It has many tall trees, small caves, rock formations, etc. Its main attraction is the hot tourist spot - Rion Springs, a natural hot spring resort run by an elderly fairy couple, Akane and Daisuke.
Vieren Port - Man-made wharf used by humans when traveling to Aldora. Kind of dirty with anthropogenic influence everywhere.
Ronda Beach - Northern beach of Aldora. Human influence is littered across the beach, but some Mothcats seem to like living there. As the beach goes further inland, more trees and vegetation appear. The land gets kind of rocky as it gets closer to Rion mountain range.
Sarsa Beach - Western beach of Aldora. It is mostly made of sand. The area is very open - it doesn't have as many trees as Ronda Beach. There are hints here and there of pirate/sailor influence.
Varrlia Glade - An open plain in Southern Aldora. It is the ideal place to live - but is very expensive to do so as well. It has a little bit of everything - open field, trees, rocks, a beach, etc.
Torel Lakes - Series of lakes located to the east of Sarsa Beach. Very pretty.
Naari River - Major river that flows from Aran Lake to the ocean.
Rava Forest - Inhabitable and very dense forest that separates Varrlia Glade from Morel Hollow. Normal Mothcats can't pass through it without getting lost. There are rumors that evil/scary things might lurk there...
Thaeli Cliffs - Southeastern cliffs that overlook the ocean.
