Critters Approval Thread

Submit your Critters here to be evaluated and approved!

Do not forget to upload the Critter reference privately!
It can be a character page on Toyhou.se set to private (you'll have to get the direct link to the image), a personal discord server, DeviantArt's sta.sh, or similars.

Checklist
Before submitting, see if you have done all of the following:

Obtained a MYO slot and has proof of it (can be a screenshot of where you got the MYO slot, or a direct link to the comment granting you one); this is not needed if you are designing a free Critter.

Followed all the traits listed for the Critter species in the Critters page;

The reference of your Critter is a colored full view of it, and shows clearly all the traits;

You have listed for which Articularia the Critter you have created is (obligatory for free Critters, but optional for ones you got a MYO slot for).

Also, if possible, please avoid sending a large amount of Critters to be approved in one go!
If you are planning to create many Critters, instead of waiting until all are done and sending them all in a single message, send them in smaller batches (like 4 or 5). This is to both reduce admin strain, and to catch up any recurring mistakes in the designs before it is repeated in a large amount of characters. Better fix a small mistake once or twice than in 20 different Critters!

When will my Critter be approved?
There is not a specific day of the week where Critters will be checked, but we will try to run approvals at least twice per week, with one guaranteed check on the weekends.

If your Critter submission was not replied to within one week, please contact one of the admins (Mima or Maohart), so we can verify if you have been skipped by accident!

I have absolutely fallen in love with Nudiglows after making this bab. Like, they're so pretty?!?! And so cool?!?! AND SMOL! Just... perfection, haha

Hi hi Crystalbinja! I have checked your Nudiglow, and there are two minor details to fix!
- The base color of the tail tentacles must be the same as the base color of the head cap; it is currently the same color as the main body instead
- The glowing part of the hair is not the same as the shade used for the wrist and neck frills. So it should either not glow in the dark, or should have the same color as one of the shades used for the frills

Thus the Nudiglow is not approved yet, but just reply to this comment once you have updated the ref to follow the points above, and I will check it once again ^^

MAY SUBMISSIONS HAVE ENDED!
You cannot submit anymore Critters for the 4 free slots of May 2022. If you have not used all of them, the unused ones are now voided.
From now on, only the 4 free slots of June 2022 are being accepted!

Any slots from May that have been submitted before this cutout are still valid, even if they have not been evaluated yet or are asked to be edited/fixed!

Hello chamalaeon! I have checked your Critters, and the two Damafaes plus the Magnoris are good to go! You may already upload them to TH and share them if you'd like ^^

However, the Nudiglow has the tentacle tails the same color as the frills! Their base color should be the same as the one used for the head cap (you may add markings over the base color if desired, though ^^

Everything else should be fine with them though! So once you have fixed the detail listed, just reply to this comment with the updated ref, and I will check it once more ^^

Hello Silverfox! I have checked your Critters, and the two Magnoris are approved! You may already upload both to TH and share them if you'd like ^^

However, the two Nudiglows have a couple minor issues you will have to revise!
- In both the knee sticky pads are lighter than the main color used for the body - they should be slightly darker!
- Also I had some difficulty to double check the colors used for the frills and glowing markings, in some points where I tried to colorpick the shades seemed to be slightly different, and even the shades in the palette sometimes seemed to not match fully what was used for the frills and markings. Could you try to save the files as .png, or a .jpg with the highest quality allowed by your art program, to remove as much of the pixelated effect as possible? This way I think we could see better the colors and I can properly double check them ^^

Thus the two Nudiglows are Not Approved at this moment. Reply to this comment once you have revised the details I mentioned above, and I will check the design once again!

It’s late atm so I’ll fix the stick pad issues in the morning, but here are th best possible pics I’ve got for frill/marking colour picking.
