update feb/4/2023 added more characters to fave

i’m glad they made this new forum! seems like a good way to reduce the clog in character discussion. anyhow…. i figured this could be a fun way to share some genuine love around and get the names of my best boys out there a little!

this is a classic FAVE FOR FAVE, where you’ll be faving a few of my characters, EXCEPT…
you have to write just a quick reason why ya like them in this thread!

CHARACTERS TO FAVE [PLEASE STAY WITHIN THE TAG]

i’ll go through your toyhouse and fave some characters that I GENUINELY LIKE as well, and i’ll tell you why i like those! (don't worry, you're guaranteed to receive at least one. i like a lot of things.)

the reason you like them can be pretty simple! feel free to purely base it off of the design, if you'd like. you don’t need to read the bio or anything like that— of course, it'd be nice if you did, but there's no need. do keep in mind though that i don't have much energy to write a long response as to why i like your characters-- only write longer reasons if you're okay with some shorter replies.

PLEASE DON'T fave if you DON'T like them at all, and if you write something just like “faved!”, i won’t return the fave-our. (lol) and, well of course, i’d REALLY like if you DIDN'T comment if you’re gonna stick my characters in a “ignore” or “fav exchange” or folder of that sort. 😅 i’m still gonna do my part of the trade though, but … it’s definitely preferred if this wasn’t the case, lol.

also, I CANNOT SEE PROFILES THAT ARE MATURE-LOCKED! if your profile is 18+, i can’t return a fave, unfortunately. you’re free to still comment here though— i just can’t give you anything back!

Feinny unfortunately imo mark’s design is one of the weaker aspects of him :’D glad ya like it though

faved leia and celena! they’re such beans ahhh they’re so cute. i especially love all the art pieces in leia’s gallery, such a pretty gal

Ohh I really like this type of dynamic. I want my characters to be seen but I don't like people faving them out of compromise, so I might do a thread like this myself later, if you don't mind (I can credit you for the idea!).

I just faved him! He seems like a very interesting character, with that whole being unkillable thing 👀 poor guy tho, ppl think that he's cold :( I would be his friend. Also his design is very cute! Although the ears are fake, the white hair and red eyes do make him look like a bunny!

I read his short bio but I am genuinely intrigued by him so I might read more later ^^

anyway, i gave ryder a fave! foxes are one of my favourite animals so i’m a little biased, but i also like characters who have… suspiciously happy demeanours. not sure why, it’s just something i really enjoy!

i mean. i love how loved he is haha i think it's awesome when someone puts so much thought and time into an oc! but his design is also really appealing, i'm a sucker for the red/white color palette ^^ genuinely a very well designed and pleasing character!

BUT ANYWAY

I remember faving him because of design mainly (I'm generally a sucker for red/black/white palettes, also love the different outfits you gave him) but I just went through the extensive profile and had a lot of fun reading it especially because I can clearly tell you love him dearly just with the amount of things you wrote about him (I tend to enjoy reading more when I can tell the person poured a lot of their love into what they wrote)! Some things that notably stood out to me in the profile are the extra information you wrote besides his likes and dislikes (shows a bit more how he feels about those) & the backstory in general (I always love some backstories where the character was previously kind of "isolated" before being "freed" and being able to explore around a lot more)! The trivia was also fun to read (especially the "so gorgeous it's getting repulsive" one, that's a pretty unique one imo!)
I'd definitely love to read the full profile when I can, let's just say I got pretty invested :3

(Side note, I really like the thread's idea, makes me wanna tell people whose OC's I've faved why I did so hehehe)

i faved heartbreaker because.. in all honesty i just think that design is rad LOL. i like the bit where her heart is supposed to be is replaced with the glass, and the melty bit on the face is real rad

grian_parrot the reason mark gets so much attention is because this thread used to just be about him! before i opened it up to like two new characters, hahahah.

forewarning that i know NOTHING about homestuck so bare with me here :")

faved finn! his design, being very light on a dark background, stood out to me immediately among the roster. also his bio was really fun to read !!! i like the vibes of it thumbs up thumbs up. his relationship with his mom is so cute aah
