Ophanim are angels with inhuman shapes, usually formed by any number of eyes, rings and wings. They can, however, manipulate ichor to create a body or body parts for themselves.Â
Ichor is the often golden or pearlescent fluid that makes up the bodies and shapes of immortals.

Some ophanim become so proficient  in their control of ichor that they are able to create complex bodies for themselves, permitting them to serve as other classes of angels or even pass themselves as humans. The can keep a number of wings similar to what they have on their ophan form or try to match the angel class they are transforming into.

made some changes to this thread, so it’s more organized and wrote a little bit of lore for the shapeshifting ophanim. I’m planning on having more types and classes of angels that have a second “biblically accurate-ish“ form
