It is with regret and no malice that I feel it integral to release this information to the general public so that you may form your own opinions and protect your own interests, characters and finances. The following accusations against 0tterpop include multiple counts of character theft.
Firstly, I’d like to apologize for enabling and encouraging 0tterpop’s behavior in the past. I no longer agree or support her current and previous actions.
(07/04/21): Around 3 A.M. on July 4th, my family and I discovered a kitten (approx. 4-5 weeks old) in the middle of the street. We decided to take it in and nurse it back to health. Unfortunately, the kitten began having seizures within the first 24 hours, and required urgent medical care. Since I am currently unemployed, my only source of income is selling characters.
(07/05/21): On July 5th, I had contacted 0tterpop for permission to sell two designs that were under her TOS. The funds for the character sales were strictly going towards vet bills. 0tterpop had ignored my request, and proceeded to respond to a different message I had sent later on. (07/06/21): On July 6th, there was still no response from 0tterpop regarding the request to sell the two characters. Due to the emergency in which I needed the funds, I had went against her TOS and sold both Pythonfang and Doeprance without her permission. Doeprance, who was originally a gift from 0tterpop, was sold to Freckled-moss for $30. I would like to defend myself in this situation, for I would NEVER sell a gift without probable cause. An emergency, to me, is a probable cause.
Unfortunately, despite all of my efforts, I had decided to euthanize the kitten. His seizures were worsening, and the vet did not see any improvement for long term success. The total amount spent in vet bills alone reached over $400. All characters sold during this time, including the sale of Python and Doe, went strictly into vet bills.
(07/15/21): On July 15th, 0tterpop had contacted me via discord, accusing me of not asking her if I could sell Doeprance. After I had showed her proof of where I had asked, she claimed that she was mistaken and apologized. (Proof: https://sta.sh/21lb95cieurt?edit=1)
(07/20/21): On July 20th, I had contacted JJOXTER about a character that she had been interested in. My cousins had come down to visit, and I was interested in treating them to a card game and dinner. Without probable cause, I had sold this (https://toyhou.se/11882237.nightowl) character without getting permission from 0tterpop, which was against her TOS. I completely acknowledge and accept to breaking her TOS without good reason, and with this- she has every right to be upset with me regarding the character.
(07/21/21): On July 21, 0tterpop confronted me about selling Nightowl against her TOS, and proceeded to send me a list of links of characters that she wanted back from me. I explained to her that I would only be willing to sell Chestnutfur back to her and that the rest of the characters she had linked are forever homed. Before I move on, I’d like to take some time to discuss a few things that were talked about in our argument. First thing- 0tterpop has every right to be upset with me over the sale of Nightowl, and I 100% accept her decision to blacklist over the incident. However, it’s obvious in the screenshots that 0tter’s main issue has to do with Doeprance- the gift I had sold for $30. As stated above, I would never sell a gift without probable cause. I tried my best to get in contact with her, and I didn’t really have an option to wait. The vet I went to didn’t accept payment plans, and I had no other choice. I will not apologize for doing what I had to do in response to an emergency. If anyone has any questions regarding the topics in the argument, you are free to ask.
Now, to the main issue. Yesterday, I had decided to delete our links and cut off our ships permanently. I did not say a word to 0tterpopabout this, and I expected them to get the hint and move on. Unfortunately, she decided to take things a step too far.
0tterpop went on to reupload my characters and abused her TOS to justify the theft. She claimed that since I sold characters against her TOS in the past (ex. Nightowl), she has a right to revoke ALL characters I have purchased from her, despite not breaking the TOS listed on the individual characters she has taken. 0tter is attempting to enforce rule 8, which states:
“If any of these rules are broken, I will refund you fully and claim them back, if you refuse to accept the money- they will still be taken back; payment will be held onto until an agreement is met”
Although 0tterpop is using the words “they/them/there”, it is not in a plural sense at all given the sentence structure and the overall view of the TOS. Instead, she is using the words to create a gender neutral vocabulary since she isn’t sure what gender the buyer will assign to the OC. If she were meaning to state that she will reclaim ALL OC’s if TOS is to be broken, she would use the words “claim all designs” to make crystal clear of what is being agreed to. What is being said instead is that she will only take the individual character back in a gender neutral tone.
I felt a bit unsure as to whether I should talk about the next part, but it’s only fair that I do in order to make sure my words aren’t being mixed around, and to make sure that this will not be used against me. Following my characters being stolen, I had contacted 0tterpop privately. I will admit- I said some pretty vulgar things. However, I do not regret the conversation, as I feel that it was justifiable after her previous actions. I was not in a good state of mind, and I was angry (for good reason). I felt that this beware was necessary in order to inform the public of the accusations against 0tterpop. Her actions are inexcusable, and I refuse to sit back and continue to let her get away with an actual crime. Toyhou.se admins have been notified of the situation, and now, all that can be done is wait (unless 0tter decides to do the mature thing and delete the stolen characters).

(edit: 0tterpop has only revoked 6 characters from me, one not even being her design. I have 11 characters total that are her designs. It’s obvious that she’s only using this whole situation as an excuse to take back the characters she WANTS back as a way to “punish” me. It is absolutely unacceptable for her to take characters that I have never broken TOS on. She is abusing her own terms as a way to get what she wants, and it will not be tolerated.)

Despite the tension between 0tterpop and I, I had offered to have a calm conversation with her to hopefully resolve this situation outside of Toyhou.se. I explained to her that I understand her being upset over the sale of Nightowl, but stealing my characters was not a good nor acceptable way to approach her frustrations. I then went on to explain that I am NOT willing to give up my characters, but rather come up with a different resolution that could put her more at ease. In our conversation on 7/21/21, 0tterpop starts off with:
“If you’re going to start selling characters, please notify me who so I can buy them please. Just noticed you sold another (referring to Nightowl) and didn’t even bother notifying me. I understand if you’re upset, but please to not break my TOS...”
0tterpop then goes onto link several characters. All of the characters that she has currently stolen are on that list.
I respond back with: “I’m only willing to sell Chestnut. The others are forever homed.”
In which 0tterpop responds with: “Thats okay. I’m alright with that. Just asking though.”
So despite 0tterpop claiming that they had revoked my characters due to the sale of Nightowl, she stated that it was ALRIGHT for me to keep my characters despite at this time being completely aware and acknowledging that I had sold Nightowl.

The link above includes 0tterpops response (10) along with the screenshot that she had linked in her note (11). In the screenshot she had linked contained a message I had sent in a group chat that she herself was included in. The message I had sent was a rant in response to my parents using me to sell characters for money. The rant read:
“When my parents have noticed that selling characters helps me get funds that I need, so now, they ask me to get money for different things by selling my characters. Like guys,,, I don’t even have many characters left at this point bc of the vet bills, stop trying to get me to sell everything I have. It’s literally such a sucky feeling selling characters that I never intended to sell or even wanted to really. I barely have any anymore anyways lmao. Might as well just sell them all at this point.”
0tterpop claims in her response to me that this comment I had made is when she began to get anxious with me. At this point, it is all beginning to sound like an excuse. The comment I had made was clearly meant to be taken as sarcasm, as I was ranting about my parents using me for money. Regardless of any of this- 0tterpop still stated that she was alright with me keeping the characters. It wasn’t until the next night when I had cut off our ships that she began reuploading them- in other words, going back on her word.
0tterpop insists that she is working to be a better person, but her previous and current actions contradict that. For the sake of EVERYONE in the community, I advise you all to be cautious when doing business with her in the future.
