Hi, hello! I was going to add this to the positive reviews thread but it very specifically said it's only for other TH users. SO here I am in my own thread.
I want to put the good word out there for Mooskieter, who has been working away on three Sonic fancharacter revamps for me. They have my absolute recommendation. Their artwork is so clean and very much their own style, they've had an incredibly quick turn-around time, and they really really want to please their client. It's been nothing but a pleasure working with them, and I know I can be very scattered at times (very stream-of-consciousness), but Moo has taken my ramblings and made more than I could even dream of myself.
I originally found them because they were heavily advertising their commissions due to a health scare and generally being in a rough spot. I knew I finally wanted to give all my Sonic characters redesigns, but I have very little on them because they were connected to someone in my past that I've broken all ties from. Only one of them had actual artwork to go off of, and the others are all bad dollmaker edits and "Oh man, I really like this aspect of this piece of art. Have to remember that for the inspo-board." And said inspo-boards, yeah they're kinda rough.
Moo was able to work around them though, and we agreed on $50 per character to include a Clothed front view and both front and back views Unclothed (I figured that would set me up with a solid ref for future commissions). We started with payment for just one because this was their first time doing revamps like this, and they did not let me down. Within three days, I had the first "rough" for approval, only I would consider it a fully fleshed out piece: clean lines, colored, design notes. I was flabbergasted. Holy cow, Moo, that was quick!! And it wasn't even part of the final ref, it was literally just the mock-up for approval. I had the final ref back to me 24 hours after that, a whole 4 days total from start to finish.
AND AND, they included a clothed back view as well, and have continued to do so on the next one too. They've really put their whole heart into redesigning these characters and it's filled me with a passion for my OWN CHARACTERS that I haven't had in a while. They just finished the second character for me today, and I'm honestly just speechless. It's taken them about a week and a half start to end on this one, but they haven't been feeling well and I told them they can let themselves slow down if they needed to. I never imagined I'd have two-thirds of these revamp commissions done so quickly. Below are the final products so far: left is the "rough" for approval, right is the finished ref sheet.
So now there's just one character left and I can't wait to start seeing the progress. I highly recommend putting Mooskieter on your To-Commission list because they've absolutely amazed me and they deserve some more love. They just reposted their commission sheet on DA, and you can order them on Ko-fi as well. I know I will 100% be a repeat customer.
