💞 TOY CHERUBS MYO EVENT + RAFFLE 💔(CLOSED)

Hello, and welcome, welcome! I'm pleased to announce that my closed species, Toy Cherubs, are now debuting! To commemorate the event, I'm starting off with a MYO event that will allow you to create Cherubs up to a certain rarity, as well as a free raffle that gives everyone who participates a chance to win a design that has an Ascended form!

So let's get into the details!

ABOUT TOY CHERUBS

SPECIES INFO | TRAITS LIST

Toy Cherubs are cute little spirits that inhabit toys, and can have a variety of appearances based on whichever toy they inhabit! Depending on what kind of attention their toy receives, they can become one of three main types: Tender, Torn, or Unaligned!

SPECIES PLANS

The species currently does not have MYO tickets or similar systems set up, because I would like to wait until we have decent enough participants/interest before immediately setting up things that require participation or money. However, when we do reach a respectable amount, I will start working on things like:

Expanded Traits+Trait Suggestions

Adding more traits to the trait pool to make things a lot more interesting/varied! Cherub owners can also suggest traits, and if they get selected, they will receive credit on the trait list page and receive free items to give their Cherubs said trait!

ARPG

I'll begin coming up with little events to expand the world and allow you to breathe more life into your characters. You'll earn in-game currency for art/writing submissions, which can be spent on things that will allow you to change your Toy Cherub's traits

FTO Event

After the MYO event closes, the FTO (First Time Owner) event will be set up so people can still join, however, they will only be allowed to create a TC with a certain overall rarity.

MYO Tickets + Potential future raffles/gachas

Tickets to allow creation of Cherubs at certain rarities, raffles (which will always be 'free' [they may cost in-game currency, but never IRL money]), and gachas where you can try to earn Cherubs with certain rare traits along with certain items such as bundled MYO tickets and more!

So you can see this list as more or less of a roadmap, but as of right now I'm primarily organizing all of this by myself with support from a handful of friends.

HOW TO GET YOUR MYO

Claiming your MYO is simple! Follow these instructions:

1. Make a bulletin advertising the MYO event. You can alternatively use a deviantart journal or a twitter post.

2. Join the Toy Cherubs' Toyhouse World

3. Make a post on this thread, linking to your advertisement. This allows you to create a Toy Cherub with an Overall Rarity of Common (how do I determine Overall Rarity?)

3a. You can also ping some friends you think would like the species! 3 friends allows you to make a Toy Cherub with an OR of Uncommon. 5 or more allows you to make a Toy Cherub with an OR of Rare, plus ONE Mutation trait.

4. When you receive a reply from me that says 'Confirmed!' you may then start making your MYO!

5. Once your MYO is complete, submit it to the world's forum, MYO Submission.

6. Wait! We'll get back to you when your MYO is approved or needs to be edited! Once it's approved, you're the owner of an official Toy Cherub!

(Please be patient regarding me getting back to you for confirmation! I am just one person doing this largely by myself, and I cannot predict what kind of influx I will receive!)

RAFFLE

Oh, but that's not all! EVERYONE who participates in this MYO event will receive an entry in a big raffle to earn one of these Toy Cherub designs, as made by me and some friends! EACH of these Cherubs has Ascended, and it is up to whoever wins them to design their Ascended form!!

To see their traits, check out the TC Masterlist! Once you have won one of these designs, you will be allowed to design their Ascended form for free, simply follow the instructions in the Ascension Submission forum (which will be unlocked after the MYO event).

Lots will be drawn after the MYO event closes, and once all MYO submissions have been gone through!

FAQ

I can't draw too well, is there a base available?

Yes, you can find it here in both PSD and CLIP formats. Simply add/erase lines as necessary. Certain traits are not included due to being superfluous/too open to custom interpretation (such as multiple wings/ears and shaped eyes).
