Today's post is a nice little double-feature since I didn't want to spam this forum with more of my threads, hahaha. I'll update this thread as I continue to work on both projects, but I'm a one-man team juggling schoolwork and other stuff, so it might be a little slow, apologies.
Part 1

PRE-LAUNCH DISCORD! I made this server just as kind of a pre-launch hangout for anyone possibly interested in my silly little guys. I suppose it's a way for everyone to connect with each other and get to know me/my species while we're here, and get more frequent updates and offer commentary in a more convenient fashion, I suppose. I'll be posting about whatever I'm working on or have done already; I'm a student and I don't have all the time in the world so sadly progress is likely going to be a bit slow. Feel free to hang out and chat with each other in the meantime though! JOIN HERE
This species is going to be non-profit, with MYO prices being donations... to somewhere? To keep with the theme of the species it'll likely be some marine conservation organization, so if you guys have suggestions feel free to comment them down.
LORE STUFF, WAHOO! There are two versions of the main lore (the backstory behind the company responsible for the species), the tampered version and the untampered version. Please note that not everything is just "given" to you and that there are some connections you'd have to be making yourself, it's... ARG-esque, in a way..?
I've also added a bunch of other supplemental content, find it here! It includes two videos ;) yes it was torture to make you'll notice some links aren't filled yet, that's the stuff I'm working on.
UPDATE: I have some designs for some important characters in the lore (which are actually AUs of my existing characters but hhh I made Lola from scratch what more do you want I'm lazy.) The one IC is slightly more important than his boyfriend lol.
Here they are! Enjoy. We now have official designs for each level of rarity, though I don't use all the uncommon/rare traits on them and opted for simpler designs.

Part 2 (spoiler'd because this is mostly jelveils now haha)
And here we have the Chiivae rework-- another one of my non-profit CS. It's already a pretty much complete species with a World and Discord up and running, but I figured the species sheets weren't the nicest and could use some redoing, plus adding some new traits and tweaking the rarity system a little. New traits include scroll ears-- little floppy-ear like structures that go down a Chiivae's head and are used as memory aids, and scroll wraps, which are bandage-like formations that go around a Chiivae's body, and pretty much keep the story together. I kept all my existing members in mind-- I tried my best to make the traits such that a redesign wouldn't be required (as the scroll ears would be optional and the wraps would just be hidden under clothing). I've got more detailed information posted on a bulletin in the World (BULLETIN IS HERE) but I suggest you join the Discord if you'd like more updates real-time, talk to me directly (don't worry, I wear things over my teeth so even if I bite it will not hurt), and all that business.
