There will be an MYO event to celebrate the launch of the Splitz species! This also includes a contest For a custom with special traits!
Since the splitz is likely to be semi-open, this MYO allows you to make one with one special trait, free of charge.
To get a MYO ticket to make one splitz, you'll need to join my world, link this post in a bulletin and fave a splitz OC of mine! This is to hopefully give them more recognition.
Right now, I don't know how to code so my stuff is a bit messy. I'll tidy it up when i figure out how.

Now, onto the contest! Within the world there is a forum under "MYO."
All you need to do is make your splitz with your MYO ticket and show me your design in the entries thread!
Whichever splitz has the most faves by the end of the month (this date may be extended) will win a custom splitz from me with a special trait (or two!) that you can pick!

Just to make sure- this Myo allows people to use all of the common traits and one special trait?
Also, How are you able to get uncommon and rare traits? (Or is that still being developed?)

On the trait post it states that you get 2 uncommon points and one rare point, meaning you can choose up to 2 uncommon traits and 1 rare trait! And of course for the MYO you get a free special trait of your choice. All common traits are free!

I also have a few more questions- (since I'm in the prosses of making one right now! :>) I'm not sure if it says this anywhere, but are we allowed to make them different on both sides with their traits? (like have a common eye on one side and a special eye on the other?) Also, I saw in the comments that someone was allowed to combine two uncommon traits for a rare trait, if possible, could I do that too?
Their purpose is to have both sides as different as possible! You can take a look at a few of my splitz characters for examples. Yes, you can combine 2 uncommon traits to make a rare one. Splitz must have the same horns on both sides though, but they mustn't be the same colour.
