What is an Esprit?
Firstly, Esprits and their sister species Haunters are a closed species created by Astronym. You cannot make your own without buying a myo slot. Only Astronym and Gravehaunter may sell adopts, customs, or auctions at this time.
Esprits are a type of fae crature that have a heavy association with the dead, easily possessed and in tune with the spirit world. Those who become a host go from a more feral disposition to a higher intelligence, their new personality based on what has possessed them.
Haunters, a sister species, is a type of fae that mimics Esprit fawnlings as a form of cuckoo children. Their intent is to use the resources of a court and sometimes even consuming members of the Esprit race. You can learn more about Esprit and Haunter lore at the weebly linked below.
