Hello!!! I saw the person who originally ran the thread was not active anymore so I am going to take over the thread so I can keep it managed,, hope that's ok!! :D
so there are a couple of ship art threads, but i dont think theres one specifically for oc x canon! this is like a typical draw the person above thread, only with a specific theme of oc x canon art! (SELF-INSERT IS SO VALID TOO!)
***Please specify the TYPE of ship as well, so people know if it is romantic, friendship, etc.
rules:
- ping the person you are claiming. there arent exceptions to this rule, and please be sure you ping them in your original claim, not in an edit, since people dont get notified for pings that are edited in.
- this thread is SFW. even if you are okay with receiving NSFW art, allowing it on a thread visible by all ages could cause trouble. if somebody over 18 wants to create a mature version of this thread, go ahead, you dont even have to ask me. while all NSFW is banned, please also include trigger warnings for any other sensitive content.
- please, put effort into your art. this is not the 5 minute doodle thread. while “quality” of art cant be objectively measured, all im gonna say is you should put in the same amount of effort you do on average for art.
- no art style or skill level discrimination. everyone is welcome to participate, so if you attempt to only let people with certain art styles or skill levels claim for you, or you complain about the piece you get, you will be banned. art games are for fun, dont bring other people down over them.
- please try not to take longer than two weeks to fill your claim. this is an art game, it doesnt need to be a masterpiece. while needing an extension is sometimes understandable, if someone has taken longer than a month to fill a claim for you, by all means list your claim in the unfilled claims thread!
- if you have claimed already, please dont claim again until youve finished and sent your art for your other claim. ideally, wait until two or three other people have posted before you claim again too, although this can be decreased to one if the thread seems to have died.
- NO SHIPPING UNDERAGED CHARACTERS WITH ADULT CHARACTERS. The only exception for this is platonic familial relationships, like a father-son relationship. AGING DOWN OLDER CHARACTERS DOES. NOT. COUNT. EITHER.

Alexsandra - my hetalia oc (again LMAO) they have a sibling/negative/enemy relationship with Mathias >_< (would prefer nothing too shippy since they are more of a familial relationship. Fighting or enemy stuff is cool :D)

Rampion - my RWBY oc, they have a crush on Mercury and get embarrassed about it easily,, he is very cocky and kind of a bitch LOL (I don't have a preference for them probably nothing super sweet since mercury is a bitch)

Carwen x Rohan Kishibe - Can be drawn as romantic or platonic. They sorta have a sassy friends vibe and dig at each other a lot in a playful/friendly way. I don't really have a preference for Rohan's outfit. You can either use the outfit I drew for him or you're free to choose any of his various outfits. I like seeing him in something other than the outfit I designed for him tho since I have so much art of him in it. But I'm honestly not picky at this point.
Atsuko x Yusuke Kitagawa - Would like drawn romantically or at least being fluffy together. I have a soft spot for these too, and I would honestly just like to see them being soft towards each other. I don't have an outfit preference for Yusuke, but it would be cool seeing him in his Phantom Thief outfit.

Their dynamic is sort of that Salted Caramel is the energetic, mildly annoying one of the two and Licorice likes him but doesn't really want to admit it. As for activities, something involving magic would fit best but you can surprise me!
Noctua × Emperor Belos - They're like your regular old couple of old people who have been together for a while! So I'd love something domestic and fluffy, a little sophisticated scene with the whole important figure aspect in mind, or maybe even something a little sad.
Yu × Bakugou Katsuki - They embody the enemies to lover's trope. So, if you wanna draw the tense stage that's cool! If you want to draw them in a super shippy way, they'd be doing something like baking or having a snack. But anything cutesy is good!

Stella Somnium X Noctis Lucis Caelum (Final Fantasy XV) Stella reaches to Noctis shoulders. They met each other when Stella was 20 and she fell in love with him pretty quickly. They often played video games or went fishing. And also, Stella eats the tomatoes Noctis doesn't want on his burger- (If you draw this one, PLEASE only draw their younger versions (the ones in their 20s). Meaning for Noctis the version without beard and for Stella the left design. )
Chrysocolla X Zhongli (Genshin Impact) Chryso reaches to Zhonglis shoulders. Both share a quite similar fate, so that's why they feel like soulmates. They love to drink tea together, and sometimes Chryso plays the harp for Zhongli. They also fight and train together.
Lily X Cynthia (Pokemon Diamond/Pearl) Lily reaches to Cynthias neck. Both are pretty chill, but while Lily is more relaxed chill, Cynthia is more mature/mysterious chill. They both love to train together and take care of their pokemon together. Or read about legendaries together. Lily isn't as strong as Cynthia, the champ of Sinnoh, but Cynthia supports her nonetheless.
