Hello all! I'm needing a bit of a writing warm-up, so I wanted to open some interesting requests.
I would like to write your character profiles! More specifically, I'd like to write some abstract interpretations or drabbles for OCs who do not yet have any written profile information.
What do I mean by abstract? Rather than simply telling a straight narrative, I enjoy writing passages that capture a brief moment, or a feeling that personifies a character—more of a mood piece, if you will. I find them to be useful jumping-off points for developing a character further, or simply useful on their own if I don't care to write much more.
A few examples of these:

As these will be largely open to my interpretation, this is primarily intended for characters who you have little information about, such as designs you don't yet know what to do with, or other vaguely anchored OCs.

If you're interested and don't already have one in mind, I can also attempt to locate a song that the character reminds me of, but be warned that my tastes run pretty erratic, so if my general listening habits don't jive with you, you may want to skip that option ^^; Gratuitous Japanese (Y/N): You will notice this on a number of my profiles, but I like to toss on random Japanese phrases just for fun. Let me know if you would like any of these included or not! (Note: In case you can't read them, there is no deep meaning to most of these phrases; they are included purely for flavour! If you want these I'll be happy to include a translation for you, as well!) |
These will not be first-come, first-serve, and I can't promise that I'll get to everyone, but I'll do as many as time and inspiration allow me!
Because these are experimental and 100% free, I will not be redoing any of them, but I don't mind if you decide not to use them, or wish to modify them. You are welcome to use these for any personal, non-commercial use, so long as you do not claim original authorship. Credit is appreciated, but wholly optional!

iinasmuch Hmm, it'll mainly depend what you're looking for. Since they already have a lot filled in, creating blurbs for them is a bit moot, but if you'd like something more of a drabble that might be possible.
noizora These are pretty cute kids! This took my way longer than it should have because I was trying to see what I could dig up for a similar music track for Carl xD I'm not sure if the one I found was entirely what you had in mind though, so feel free to swap it out if you hate it xD

I once totaly felt in love with a character but.... I have no idea what to do with him.... Nor where to start to build him....
Character Link: Wilfried
Mood/Keywords/Theme: He is not developped at all for now, but I think he would be a rather confident guy, friendly but sarcastic?
Other Details: He would live in either a modern semi-realistic world, or something futuristic (may be a positive or more negative future, may be a kind of "punk" style), but definitely not total fantasy with magic and such.
Song (optional): I wish I knew good songs :(
Gratuitous Japanese (Y/N): if the japanese fits in, why not ?

Mood/Keywords/Theme: Dreams. She is a pretty paranoid and shy character. Usually the "mom" friend. But her circle of friends are small and tight as she do not like interacting with too many people

Seiden I thought a little bit, and I couldn't think of many details for him, but I imagined that he likes to keep very active, so he has some friends that he likes to spar with. They like to hang out in old buildings, but it's an overall optimistic sort of future. I linked a song on there that I think matches that—you're welcome to remove or replace it if you don't like it, though!
